Hi mama,
As we begin a new month, we’re talking about journaling! A simple but powerful habit that helps you process emotions, reduce stress, and grow spiritually. Research from the University of Texas at Austin shows that writing about your thoughts and feelings can improve mental well-being and even support physical health.
We also look at what Scripture shows us through the book of Psalms — honest, raw prayers poured out before God. Christian author Donald Whitney reminds us that journaling slows us down and helps us think and feel more deeply about the Lord.
This episode will show you how to start journaling in a simple, realistic way with absolutely no pressure, just progress. One page at a time.

Hi mama,
In this episode, we talk about the mental fog so many stay-at-home moms carry. “Mom brain” is real, but so are the added layers of constant phone use, multitasking, lack of rest, and never slowing down. Over time, the clutter in our schedules becomes clutter in our minds and spirits.
Instead of shame, this is an invitation to acknowledge what’s not working, forgive yourself, and bring it to God.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or foggy, you’re not failing. You may just need to mend some fences and invite God back into the center of your day.

Hi mama,
Do you ever get so caught up in the daily rhythms of mom life that you forget why you’re doing what you’re doing? The days move quickly, and time passes whether we’re intentional or not. As Christian stay-at-home moms, we need regular moments to step back, lift our eyes, and get perspective.
In this episode, I’m sharing the idea of having a monthly meeting with God, a dedicated time to pray, worship, reflect, journal, and invite the Holy Spirit to speak. It’s a chance to review the past month, notice patterns, celebrate growth, and surrender the areas where we’re striving in our own strength. Rooted in Galatians 3:2–5, we’re reminded that we began by the Spirit, and we can’t finish this journey by human effort alone.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or distracted this episode will encourage you to slow down, seek Him intentionally, and trust that real change happens through His Spirit and not your striving.

Hi mama,
In this episode, we’re having an honest conversation about feeling “off” and what to do when you feel weary about everything.
If you’ve been:
- Feeling extra tired for days
- Questioning your decisions
- Wondering if you’re doing too much
- Struggling to balance faith, family, and responsibilities
- Trying to be a “good Christian mom” but running on empty
This episode is your reminder to pause and do a heart check.
Instead of pushing through exhaustion, we talk about seeking God first and asking the deeper questions that lead to clarity and peace.
You’ll be encouraged through Scripture (Philippians 1:6, Psalm 23:1-3, Psalm 42:5, Matthew 7:7-11) and reminded that:
- Hard seasons of motherhood are not wasted.
- Just because something feels hard doesn’t mean you’re outside God’s will.
- God is developing you, even in the unseen, ordinary days at home.
If you need encouragement, mama, this episode is for you.

Hi mama,
This episode is about the power and responsibility of leadership, starting with leading yourself well. I share how John Wooden unexpectedly shaped my understanding of leadership not through basketball, but through his focus on character, purpose, and the impact leaders have on people’s lives.
We talk about the leadership wounds many of us carry from coaches, teachers, bosses, parents, and public leaders who didn’t lead well, and how those experiences shape us more than we realize.
I also compare what good leadership actually looks like, using Gladiator and the character of Maximus as an example of the kind of leader people willingly follow - strong, principled, and willing to sacrifice for others.
The episode closes with a challenge to look beyond excuses and limitations and recognize that leadership doesn’t start someday, it starts now, right where you are, because someone is already watching how you live.

Hi mama,
If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what you’re supposed to be doing, this episode is for you. In today’s episode, we’re talking about how the enemy keeps mamas trapped in cycles of comparison, confusion, and inaction, and why that cycle leads to frustration and unhappiness at home.
More importantly, we’re diving into how to break free! You’ll learn the importance of knowing who you are as a person and as a woman of God, waking up with purpose, and taking bold action even when fear is present.
If you’re ready to stop overthinking, walk by faith instead of sight, and take the next step God is calling you to, even if it feels scary, this episode will encourage you to move forward with confidence because you're not doing it alone!

Wednesday Jan 28, 2026
Wednesday Jan 28, 2026
In today’s episode, we’re doing one of my favorite things… a monthly reflection!
It’s the last week of January, and this is the perfect time to pause, look back, and really see where you’ve grown, what worked, and where God might be inviting you to improve. Reflection is powerful because it helps us move forward with intention instead of just rushing into the next month on autopilot.
I’m walking you through how to do your own monthly review, why I recommend doing it alone and without interruptions, and what you’ll need to make it a cozy, meaningful ritual (pretty journal, pretty pen, and coffee are highly encouraged).
We’ll cover reflection questions, look at Scripture, and learn how to actually write it down, plan it, schedule it, and revisit it because what you’re writing is gold.
After you listen, I’d LOVE to hear how it went, so send me a DM or email.
Let’s grow, on purpose, together.
